The Gladstone remain the only team with a 100% win record after a 5-1 defeat of St. Maurs in Skerries. Unfortunately, Keiths team also have a 100% record but its not one that they would want. They sit bottom of the table and are still searching for their first points.
This seasons draw specialists, the White Hart Bar had to share the spoils again after another 3-3 draw with the Man O’ War.
The Cock Tavern had a great 4-2 win over last years runners up and one of the favourites for this years title, The White Hart Lounge. This leaves the WHL with just 1 point from their opening 3 games. For more news and info on the 2 teams from the White Hart and their Monday night team, click on the link at the side.
Colmcilles are top of the league for the first time this year after a brilliant 5-1 win over Walshes in Rush. The games had everything, big check-outs, 180s galore and missed doubles to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Mick Barry had a high check-out of 130 on the bull and a 180 on route to beating Anto Caldwell. Mark Howard pipped Liam Redden 2-1 with both players hitting 180s. It could easily have been 2-1 to Liam as he missed 7 darts at his double to win. Darren Wade now sits top of the 180s table after another maximum and a check-out of 116 in his win over Aaron Lowndes. Man of the moment, Jacko Barry, also had a high finish of 109 in his win over Dudger Byrne. Ruthless Dylan Rutledge sealed the 3 points for ‘Cilles with another impressive display against Butzy Wade.
Murrays picked up their first win of the season with a 4-2 victory over The Fingal’s Cave in Skerries.
In the last match of the night, The Cricket continued their good start to the season with another 4-2 win at home to The Top Shop.
The Strand had their bye week.
In the backmatch from last week, Colmcilles easily disposed of The Man O’ War with a 6-0 win in Swords.

Walshes continued where they left off before the mini break, with another 6-0 win over Murrays in Lusk. This leaves Walshes top of the table and still to drop a game this season. The Strand Bar remain unbeaten after an impressive 5-1 away to the White Hart Lounge. Chris and Jemmy Carthy won the final 2 games to clinch the first win of the season for the Cricket Club over St. Maurs. This leaves Maurs still looking for their first points. The White Hart Bar played out their third consecutive 3-3 draw against the Cock Tavern in Gormanston. In the final game of the night, The Fingal’s Cave and The Top Shop also drew 3-3 in Lusk. The game between Colmcilles and The Man O’War was called off due to the darts in the CityWest. The Gladstone remain in second place after having their bye week.
Mick Barry is still top of the highest checkout table with his 155 finish in week 2. Anto Caldwell of Walshes got his name on the table with a checkout of 108 in his game against Ian Mac. Darren Wade hit a 180 to help him to a win over Murrays Jim Hogan. Again, if there are any big finishes(100+) or 180s hit, let us know by posting a comment.
