There were no major shocks or any changes to the league table as the 2nd half of the season got underway.

The Cricket were no match for leaders Walshes as they went down 6-0. Andrew McKelveys first maximum of the season gave The Cricket some hope but Dudger Byrne hit the winning double to ensure the 3 points.

The reverse of last weeks fixture, saw The Strand and Murrays meeting again. After defeat last time out, The Strand will be happier after a 3-3 draw in Lusk.

The Cock  Tavern remain in 3rd place after their 4-2 win in Skerries against The Gladstone.

St. Maurs travelled to The Top Shop and came home with a point. It was “English Andy” Humpreys who hit the crucial double against Martin Morley.

Colmcilles are still just a point behind Walshes after a 4-2 victory over The White Hart Bar in Swords. Mark Howard is still top of the 180 table after another maximum in his game.

In the final game, The White Hart Lounge and The Man O’ War also played out a 3-3 draw.

The dates and venues for the R.T.D.L. singles, doubles, cup and 3 asides have also been decided.

In a change from the norm, the Mon Andrews Cup will now be played off over the 1 day. It will take place in the back lounge of The Strand Bar in Rush on Saturday 20th of February. All pints on the day will be just €3.50.

The 3asides will take place in Rush Cricket Club on Saturday March 27th. Please note, that teams can only be made up of players from the same team.

The doubles and singles have been provisionally pencilled in for Friday April 23rd and Saturday 24th. As per usual, the doubles will be played down until the semi-finals on the Friday night and will be finished on the Saturday. The singles will be played in Colmcilles in Swords. All pints will be ONLY €3 all day. Also, there will be shuttle buses organised to ferry players and supporters to and from the venue at a very affordable price.

Due to teams pulling out of the league and the to get rid of the bye week, the decision has been taken to re-shuffle the fixture list. This will mean that there will be no bye weeks from here on.

Walshes started 2010 where they left off 2009 as they cruised to a 5-1 victory at home to The Gladstone.

2nd place Colmcilles are fresh on the heels of Walshes as they also secured a 5-1 win against The White Hart Lounge in Balbriggan.

The Cock are up to 3rd position after their 5-1 victory at home to The Top Shop.

Murrays had a very impressive 4-2 win over The Strand in Rush.This defeat sees The Strand drop to 4th in the league, just 3points ahead of their conquerers Murrays.

St. Maurs move off the foot of the table for the first time this season after their 5-1 defeat of the Man O’ War.

The Cricket Club and The White Hart Bar both had a bye week.

Due to the bad weather forecast for this weekend, the decision has been made to cancel this weeks round of fixtures. The meeting planned for Friday night has also been postponed.

The fixtures will now take place next Friday Jan 15th.
