Posted by Liam Redden on Feb 15, 2010

There was only 1 change to the league table this week but it was a significant one. Colmcilles returned to the summit after Walshes dropped points.

The Swords Men continued their impressive unbeaten streak with a 5-1 victory against St Maurs.

The Gladstone’s Mick Murray will be in Colmcilles good books after hitting the double to deny Walshes the win. In a scrappy game, Graham Murray and Mark Costello gave The Gladstone a deserved 2-0 lead. Walshes hit back and took the next 3 games. But the Skerries Skipper stepped up in the crucial final game and he didnt let his team down.

Its The White Hart Lounge who can claim bragging rights after coming out on top in “The Battle of Balbriggan”. They beat the Bar by 4 games to 2.

The Strand Bar were made to work hard for the 3points by The Man O’ War. The Rushmen eventually running out 4-2 winners.

The Cock Tavern remain in 4th, behind The Strand Bar, but only by leg difference. They were 5-1 victors against league bottom side, The Top Shop.

Murrays got their stop/start season back on track with a 4-2 victory over The Cricket.
